Week 3 of development.  GAMEPAD RECOMMENDED. 

No "gameplay" at the moment a gameroom where you can experiment/play with the features. 

UPDATE 3.5 DETAILS BELOW
Dodging now does something and now has enemy reactions

NOW WITH GAMEPAD CONTROLS

CONTROLS - not final, game is in debug state

GAMEPAD (Xbox as reference)

Hold down B to open weapon wheel, use d-pad to select weapon

D-pad for movement

A for jump

LB/RB for back/frontflips - time well to dodge

X to fire weapons

Y to transform between the states

KEYBOARD

Hold down R to open weapon wheel, use arrow keys to select weapon

SPACEBAR - Jump, and double press for an extra jump.

A/D - movement keys

F - backflip or dash in robot

G - frontflip in zero suit only

E - pressed or held down, fires the guns

Q - transform from zero-suit into the mecha suit. Now transforms from mech to zero suit.

P - will reset the game


NOTES

AI still not in for enemies. They cannot harm you and slightly react to bullets.

Health/armor do nothing yet. Stamina is for flipping.

Please forgive any major bugs, again only been working on this for 3 weeks so far, probably could have tested it a lot more.

UPDATE 02

  • Optimized code
  • Moving/jumping in the middle of transforming for example fixed
  • added in frontflip.  (Eventually on gamepad, L1 R1 would be front/back flip)
  • Adjustments to player speed and jump strength, still ongoing though
  • You can now transform in both ways now. Eventually, too much damage in mech form would force you to shed it and have to run around zero-suited
  • General little tweaks and improvements I can't remember (should keep better track of this shit)
  • As of 2.1 - grenade launcher has been turned into a disk launcher

UPDATE 03

  • More optimisations :)
  • Tweaks for front/backflipping
  • Gamepad controls
  • Weapon select wheel, slows down game slightly too, maybe to help you regain your bearings.
  • Small juice has been added, if you notice it, great :) 

UPDATE 3.5

  • Timing your dodges can achieve PERFECT DODGE or just a plain ol dodge. 
  • Projectiles react with enemies properly now, only a few tweaks needed, coming soon.
  • Enemy ai in for bug1, no death/damage yet though. He'll lunge attack you within 32 pixels, practice your dodging.
